The author focuses on the functioning of intertextemes with omocomplex ‘it‘ in the works of M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin, Z. Gippius, A. Belyi. The various literary interpretation of the phrase ‘it came‘ from the novel ‘The Story of a City‘ that depend on the historical and cultural context reading of the work are given. The author contends that the nominalized pronoun it in the lyrics Z. Gippius transforms to diffuse the image of the crowd-element that helps lyrical works in 1905 to (...) convey a sense of danger and the meaninglessness of natural rebellion. Sound-letter mimetism is found in the works of A. Bely, the founder of the direction of ‘ornamental prose‘, which continues to develop the theme of the apocalypse. The authors note that omocomplex ‘it‘ can be represented by a pronoun-noun. It is immutable word, distributed segregated agreed definition. This gives the author the opportunity to speak about the terminological use of omocomplex as omocomplex unit presented in the text segment in opposition to another terminological nominalized addicting third person pronoun: ‘not me‘ and ‘it‘. WHAT do we mean by saying that a being, God for example, is omniscient? One way of answering this question is to translate ‘God is omniscient’ into some slightly more formalised language than colloquial English, e.g. one with variables of a number of different types, including variables replaceable by statements, and quantifiers binding thes.

I think--though this is not completely clear--that it would be accurate in the situation which I have envisaged, for me to say to you 'Once you were me,' and for you to say this to me. For suppose we represent our joint life-history in the obvious way by a big Y. The left arm is not the right arm, and neither arm is the pedestal; but the word 'me' does not denote the present part of my life-history, represented by the (...) left arm, nor any other part of my life-history, but rather denotes the person whose life history is represented by the pedestal plus the left arm, and the word 'you' similarly denotes the person whose life history is represented by the pedestal plus the right arm. These two persons were ex hypothesi one and the same person before the fission, and given that pronouns have the reference just indicated, 'Once you were me' seems a correct way of describing this fact. 'Once I was you' would of course do as well; for it doesn't mean 'Once I was you and there was no me,' which of course I cannot admit, but just 'Once I was you,' and that is fair enough. My memory of the sardine feast can then be expressed by 'I remember eating those sardines when I was you'. (shrink)
